Information We Collect
We will collect information through the use of Cookies (as defined below), Web Logs (as defined below), or IP Address (as defined below). We will only collect Personally Identifiable Information (as defined below) including Personal Health Information (as defined below) if you voluntarily provide such information to us.
Cookies
We collect non-identifiable web usage data about your use of our website through the use of Cookies. A Cookie is a small piece of information that our server sends to your web browser when you access our websites. Every computer that accesses our websites is assigned a different Cookie by TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED. Cookies are capable of storing many types of non-identifiable data. TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED uses standard Web Logs that record basic data about your visit to our websites, such as the date and time of the visit, the pages viewed during the visit and the domain name of your Internet service provider.
We do not normally seek to identify individuals from Web Logs. However, we may use Web Logs to identify an individual whom we suspect tried to damage our websites or use them in an unauthorized way. We may share our Web Logs with law enforcement agencies if we believe there has been a violation of computer security or related laws or as otherwise required in order to comply with applicable law or legal process. In addition, we may share our Web Logs (which do not contain any Personally Identifiable Information) with our partners to assist them in better designing their websites for clinical research studies.
Google Analytics
Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”) which uses cookies to help analyze how users use the sites. Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information
Personally Identifiable Information that may be collected via a clinical research study survey or marketing campaign is information that can be traced back to an individual. Personal Health Information is a combination of your Personally Identifiable Information with known health characteristics. For example, if you indicated that you have a certain disease or condition, when that information is combined with your name, it becomes Personal Health Information. Examples of Personally Identifiable Information include your name, home address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, and any other information that may be used to identify you.
You may voluntarily provide Personally Identifiable Information and/or Personal Health Information in a variety of circumstances, and if you choose to do so, you consent to our collection and use of such information as described in this Privacy Policy. For example, we may collect Personally Identifiable Information, including your name, company affiliation, telephone number and email address, when you provide such information to submit an inquiry to us on the “Contact Us” portion of our website. We will use such information to respond to your inquiry. We may also use the Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information that you provide to determine if you may be eligible for research study participation or marketing campaign. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information you submit to TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED. Inaccurate information will affect our ability to properly determine if you may qualify to participate in a research study or marketing campaign.
While you may view some of our study websites or marketing campaign websites without providing Personally Identifiable Information, this information will be required to be considered for participation in a research study and/or marketing campaign.
We will not use or disclose Personally Identifiable Information or Personal Health Information of users of our clinical research study websites and/or marketing campaigns for any purpose other than those described in this Privacy Policy. If these purposes change at any time, we will update the privacy policy on our websites. We use and disclose Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information obtained from users in the following ways:
- COMMUNICATION WITH REGARD TO STUDY REFERRAL PRE-QUALIFICATION AND/OR OTHER STUDY-RELATED PURPOSES
Personally Identifiable Information will be used by TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED to follow-up with the clinical study site about your pre-qualification for and participation in the study and may be shared with the clinical study site for its assessment of your qualification for and participation in a study. - COMMUNICATION WITH REGARD TO MARKETING CAMPAIGNS AND/OR OTHER MARKETING CAMPAIGN RELATED PURPOSES
Personally Identifiable Information will be used by TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED to follow-up with the marketing campaign about your pre-qualification for and participation in the marketing campaign. - AGENTS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS SUPPORTING STUDY EFFORTS and MARKETING CAMPAIGN EFFORTS.
We sometimes employ web hosting companies to maintain our clinical study websites and/or marketing campaigns and data collected through those websites on our behalf in support of our study recruitment efforts. We may share your personal information, such as your name, disease or condition, home address, telephone number, email address, date of birth, and any other information that is linked to this identifying information, with these hosting companies so that they may perform such web hosting services for us. With respect to those companies and individuals with whom we share your personal information, we use commercially reasonable efforts to ensure that those companies and individuals adhere to this Privacy Policy or privacy practices similar to those indicated in this Privacy Policy.
We may also be required to disclose Personally Identifiable Information and Personal Health Information to comply with a law or regulation, in response to a search warrant, subpoena, court order, or other valid legal process, or in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. Aggregate Data

Children’s Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. Neither TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED, nor any of its websites or services, are designed or intended to attract children under the age of 13. We do not collect, solicit, or use Personally Identifiable Information from any person we actually know is under the age of 13. If we learn that we collected Personally Identifiable Information from any child under the age of 13, we will endeavor to delete that information as soon as possible. Internet Transmission Risks

The EU-US Data Privacy Framework (EU-US DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-US DPF, and the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-US DPF)
TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF), the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, and the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Swiss-U.S. DPF) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED] has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and from the United Kingdom (and Gibraltar) in reliance on the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. TEUTEBERG, INCORPORATED has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from Switzerland in reliance on the Swiss-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles and/or the Swiss-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern. These opt-in requests will be presented as check boxes under which you will have the opportunity to affirmatively indicate your consent to the processing of your personal data as described in this privacy policy and/or as described on our clinical research study or marketing campaign website (as applicable).

CA Consumers’ Rights
CA Consumers have the right to request that Teuteberg disclose what personal information it collects, uses, discloses and sells. Specifically, a CA Consumer may request details concerning any or all of the following: (i) specific pieces of personal information that Teuteberg has collected about the CA Consumer; (ii) categories of personal information Teuteberg has collected about the CA Consumer; (iii) categories of sources from which the personal information is collected; (iv) categories of personal information about the CA Consumer that Teuteberg sold or disclosed for a business purpose; (v) categories of third parties to whom the personal information was sold or disclosed for a business purpose; and (vi) the business or commercial purpose for collecting or selling personal information. Once Teuteberg receives your request, it will need to verify that you are the person about whom Teuteberg has collected personal information. CA Consumers have the right to request the deletion of their personal information which is collected or maintained by Teuteberg. Once Teuteberg receives your request, as described above Teuteberg will verify that you are the person about whom Teuteberg has collected personal information. Please be aware that there are certain exceptions to the right of deletion of personal information. Teuteberg will inform you if there is any such exception when responding to your request.
CA Consumers also have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment for the exercise of privacy rights under the CCPA. Teuteberg will not discriminate against any CA Consumer for his/her exercise of those rights.
A CA Consumer may use an authorized agent (which may be another person or a business entity registered with the CA Secretary of State) to submit any of the requests described above on the CA Consumer’s behalf. The authorized agent should follow processes specified above for submitting such requests. When a CA Consumer uses an agent to submit a request, Teuteberg may require the CA Consumer to provide the agent with signed permission to submit such request and may also require the CA Consumer to verify his/her own identity directly with Teuteberg. Teuteberg may deny a request from an agent if the CA Consumer does not submit proof to Teuteberg that the agent has been authorized by the CA Consumer to act on the CA Consumer’s behalf.
